The menu boasts classics such as our "new inn" burger our seafood platter & daily changing specials board. In the bar you can find cask marquee awarded fine hand pulled beers, the carefully selected wine list offers 10 red & 10 white and a good selection of wines by the glass.
The village of Tholthorpe itself became famous immediately after the Second World War in 1944 when a Royal Canadian Air force Halifax Bomber, loaded with bombs, crashed immediately after take off from the airfield at Tholthorpe. All eight crew were killed and only the skill of the pilot saved the lives of many others on the ground. This historic event is commemorated throughout the village and, at the New Inn, our photographic record of the event proves to be an item of fascination and reflection for many customers
